Our School Feast Day Celebrations!

The Assumption of Mary into Heaven... we made a booklet with Mary's Prayer - The Hail Mary inside it. We also weaved a special 'kete' to hold our booklet.
Later in the day we had fun on the bouncy castle!!

It's Firewise Time!

We have been learning about how to be Firewise. The local Fire Fighters visited our school.... don't forget to check your smoke alarm.

I learnt not to play with matches and to not give them to another kid. Give them to adult. Get out fast and know you’re safe – outside by the mail box. Do not light a fire on paper.       Dominic

If there’s a fire get down get low get out fast. Fires are really dangerous because the smoke you can’t breathe the smoke. You have to breathe under the smoke where there is fresh air.
