What do we know now?

I learnt not to play with matches and to not give them to another kid. Give them to adult. Get out fast and know you’re safe – outside by the mail box. Do not light a fire on paper.       Dominic

I know about the firefighters putting out the fire without a hose. I learnt get down, get low get out fast. Going to a safe meeting place – the mail box. I have 3 smoke alarms.   Zachary

If there’s a fire get down get low get out fast. Fires are really dangerous because the smoke you can’t breathe the smoke. You have to breathe under the smoke where there is fresh air. If you hear the smoke alarm beep there is smoke. The smoke can smell the smoke. Get down get low get out fast. Go to your safe meeting place.  McKendrick
